Twins Acquire Dean Kremer from Orioles Ahead of Trade Deadline
The Minnesota Twins have made a move to enhance their pitching lineup by acquiring Dean Kremer from the Baltimore Orioles, as reported ahead of the trade deadline.
This transaction follows the Twins' recent acquisition of reliever A.J. Minter from the Mets. The Orioles will receive 18-year-old outfielder Jhomnardo Reyes, who was ranked as the Twins' No. 24 prospect.
Kremer, 30, has faced challenges this season, making only seven starts due to a right quad strain, and has a 6.50 ERA with 38 strikeouts over 36 innings. He has played his entire seven-year career with the Orioles and is set to become a free agent this winter. The Twins are currently in a competitive race for the final wild-card spot in the American League.
