Twins Acquire Dean Kremer from Orioles in Trade

The Minnesota Twins have secured pitcher Dean Kremer from the Baltimore Orioles in a trade aimed at bolstering their rotation depth. Kremer, who has struggled this season with a 6.50 ERA, is expected to return to form as a reliable back-end starter.

Kremer's recent performance has included two poor outings that inflated his ERA, but prior to those, he maintained a 4.15 ERA, consistent with his career average. Despite his current challenges, including difficulties against left-handed hitters, he has historically been a solid league-average starter.

In exchange for Kremer, the Orioles received Jhomnardo Reyes, a promising 18-year-old outfielder ranked as the No. 10 prospect in the Twins' system. Reyes has shown potential with an .855 OPS in rookie ball and is viewed as a valuable asset for Baltimore's future.
