Ty Chandler Out for Season Due to Knee Injury
Saints running back Ty Chandler has been ruled out for the entire season due to a knee injury, as confirmed by coach Kellen Moore on Tuesday.
The injury occurred during a preseason matchup against the Rams. With Alvin Kamara out due to an MCL sprain and Devin Neal facing a hamstring issue, the Saints have acquired running back Zamir White to bolster their roster.
Chandler, who previously played four seasons with the Vikings, appeared in only three games last season. The Saints also placed Chandler and tight end Moliki Matavao on season-ending injured reserve on Tuesday. In a more positive update, Moore reported that wide receiver Chris Olave, who left practice early after a fall, is doing well.
