Ty Gibbs Secures Second Career Victory at Iowa Speedway
Ty Gibbs has earned his second career victory in the NASCAR Cup Series, winning at Iowa Speedway. Gibbs' victory came after he worked his way to the front of the field following a bad pit stop that sent him to the rear early in the race.
Christopher Bell finished second, his seventh second-place finish of the year, and fourth in the last five races. Bell moved from 10th to sixth in the standings despite not having a win this year. Other notable finishes included Josh Berry in fourth place and Tyler Reddick crashing on the fourth lap, suffering his fourth finish of 30th or worse in the last six races.
The NASCAR Cup Series will head to Richmond for a Saturday night race, with Austin Dillon having won the previous two races at the track. Ty Gibbs' win at Iowa marked a significant milestone, as he finally backed up his first career victory, which came earlier in the year at Bristol.
