Ty Gibbs Secures Second NASCAR Cup Win at Iowa
Ty Gibbs claimed his second career NASCAR Cup victory at Iowa, driving the No. 54 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota. He finished just two tenths of a second ahead of Christopher Bell, who has yet to secure a win this season despite seven second-place finishes.
Ryan Blaney took third place, followed by Josh Berry in fourth and Denny Hamlin in fifth. The top ten was rounded out by Chase Briscoe, Ross Chastain, AJ Allmendinger, William Byron, and Austin Dillon. Blaney and Bell each won a stage, with Blaney leading the most laps at 129.
Throughout the race, only ten cars finished on the lead lap. Alex Bowman, Tyler Reddick, and Erik Jones did not finish due to accidents. Gibbs led the final 20 laps, while Bell dominated earlier with 108 laps led.
