Tyler Glasnow Set to Return to Dodgers Next Week
Tyler Glasnow, a right-handed pitcher for the Dodgers, is expected to return to the team early next week for a series against the Braves. He has been on the 60-day injured list for over three months due to a back injury.
In his final rehab outing with Triple-A Oklahoma City, Glasnow threw 77 pitches, allowing one earned run and striking out nine over 5 1/3 innings. He had previously shown strong performance at the start of the season with a 2.72 ERA across seven games before his injury.
Glasnow will take the rotation spot of Justin Wrobleski, who is currently on the injured list with left forearm inflammation. Meanwhile, Shohei Ohtani is progressing in his recovery, having thrown 30 pitches in a live batting practice session, and closer Edwin Diaz is also working towards a return in a different role.
