Tyler Huntley to Start as Lamar Jackson is Ruled Out Against Falcons
The Baltimore Ravens will be without quarterback Lamar Jackson for their Week 5 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons due to an ankle injury. Head coach Jesse Minter confirmed in a press conference that Jackson did not practice this week, resulting in Tyler Huntley taking the starting position.
In addition to Jackson, edge rusher Trey Hendrickson will also miss the game due to a finger injury. Minter expressed confidence in Huntley, stating that the team is excited for him to have this opportunity. The coach noted that Jackson is working hard to recover, but it remains uncertain if he will be ready for the following week's game against the Cleveland Browns.
As of now, Jackson has completed 70.8 percent of his passes this season, accumulating 967 yards, six touchdowns, and one interception. He currently leads the league in yards per attempt and yards per completion. The Ravens will release their full injury report later today.
