Tyler Reddick Discusses Sleep Apnea Diagnosis and New Partnership
NASCAR driver Tyler Reddick, known for his victory in the 2026 Daytona 500, disclosed his sleep apnea diagnosis on Tuesday and shared his experiences with the disorder. He has struggled with symptoms for years, including excessive daytime fatigue and vivid dreams.
Reddick explained that he initially overlooked his symptoms, which included loud snoring and morning headaches. After starting treatment with Resmed's CPAP therapy, he noticed significant improvements in his recovery and performance. He aims to help others recognize the signs of sleep apnea through his new partnership with Resmed, a company specializing in sleep health technology.
As part of this collaboration, Resmed will sponsor Reddick's No. 45 Toyota in upcoming NASCAR Cup races, including events at Bristol Motor Speedway, Talladega Superspeedway, and Homestead-Miami Speedway. The partnership seeks to raise awareness about sleep apnea, which affects many individuals worldwide, often without diagnosis.
