Tyler Reddick Secures Pole Position for Cup Race at New Hampshire
Tyler Reddick earned the pole position for the Dollar Tree 301 NASCAR Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, surprising himself with his qualifying performance on Saturday. He recorded a lap time of 131.094 mph in his No. 45 23XI Racing Toyota, narrowly edging out Josh Berry of Wood Brothers Racing by 0.015 seconds.
This marks Reddick's fourth pole of the season and the 15th of his career. It is also his first pole since May, following a challenging practice session where he placed 31st in single-lap speed. Reddick has previously won four races from the pole position, demonstrating his capability to lead from the front.
In the qualifying session, William Byron from Hendrick Motorsports secured the third position, while Denny Hamlin from Joe Gibbs Racing qualified fourth. Shane Van Gisbergen, starting fifth, emphasized the importance of track position for the race ahead. The qualifying results reflect a competitive field, with Christopher Bell and Ty Gibbs also finishing in the top seven.
