Tyler Warren Injury Update: Colts Tight End Suffers Abductor Strain
Tyler Warren, the tight end for the Indianapolis Colts, suffered an abductor strain during practice on Wednesday. Reports indicate that he is not expected to be sidelined for an extended period and could be back on the field as early as next week.
The injury occurred during the 11-on-11 drills when Warren went down while running a route. Medical staff attended to him after he reached for his groin area. Fortunately, initial assessments suggest that the injury is not severe.
Warren, who was selected by the Colts as the 14th overall pick in the 2025 draft, had a successful rookie season, recording 76 receptions for 817 yards and four touchdowns in 17 games. His performance earned him a Pro Bowl selection. Colts head coach Shane Steichen has praised Warren's abilities and indicated that the team plans to incorporate him prominently in their game strategies for the upcoming season.
