Tyrell Malacia Reflects on Manchester United Experience and New Beginnings at FC Cincinnati
Tyrell Malacia has expressed no regrets about his time at Manchester United, despite facing challenges, including training with youth players after being sidelined by former manager Ruben Amorim. The Dutch left-back is now focusing on revitalizing his career with FC Cincinnati in Major League Soccer after his contract with United ended.
Malacia, who underwent two significant knee surgeries, returned to full fitness in November 2024. His recent performance for FC Cincinnati marked his first time starting four consecutive matches since September 2022, following a £13 million transfer from Feyenoord to United.
While Malacia acknowledges the difficulties he faced at Old Trafford, including limited playing time and an unexpected exile from the first team, he remains grateful for his experiences. Now with FC Cincinnati, he aims to contribute positively as the team seeks a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
