Tyrese Haliburton Shines in Comeback Game for Pacers

Tyrese Haliburton made a triumphant return to the court, leading the Indiana Pacers to a comeback victory against the New Orleans Pelicans in his first official game since suffering an Achilles injury in June 2025.

In the game, Haliburton scored 23 points, with 16 of those coming in the fourth quarter, and also recorded 12 assists over 34 minutes of play. His emotional response was evident as he celebrated with Pacers fans who traveled to support him.

Haliburton had sought advice from Pelicans guard Dejounte Murray regarding recovery from an Achilles tear and conditioning during the game. He was joined by a supportive group of family and friends who flew in for the season opener, highlighting the importance of their presence during his comeback.
