UFC 333 Features Title Fights in Abu Dhabi

UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi will showcase title fights, including Movsar Evloev challenging Alexander Volkanovski for the featherweight championship.

UFC 333 is scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, featuring two title fights. The main event will see Movsar Evloev, who remains undefeated with a record of 20-0, face Alexander Volkanovski for the UFC featherweight championship.

Volkanovski, at 38 years old, is on his second reign as the 145-pound champion. The co-main event will pit Petr Yan against Merab Dvalishvili in a rubber match for the bantamweight title. Dvalishvili won their first encounter, but Yan claimed the championship in their December rematch.

Each fight on the main card has significant implications for the UFC rankings. Alexander Volkov aims for a heavyweight title shot and must perform well against Rizvan Kuniev. Additionally, Aaron Pico, a ranked bantamweight, seeks to prove himself against Losene Keita after several years in MMA.
