UFC 333 Preview: Championship Bouts in Abu Dhabi

UFC 333 is set to occur on Saturday in Abu Dhabi, featuring two championship bouts at the top of the card. The main event showcases Alexander Volkanovski defending his featherweight title against undefeated Movsar Evloev, while the co-main event features bantamweight champion Petr Yan facing Merab Dvalishvili.

Volkanovski aims to leverage a game plan similar to his previous fight against Islam Makhachev, focusing on striking against Evloev. In contrast, Evloev plans to utilize his wrestling and striking to keep Volkanovski challenged, especially as Volkanovski approaches 38 years of age.

In the bantamweight title fight, Yan seeks to replicate his successful strategy from their last encounter, where he effectively neutralized Dvalishvili. Dvalishvili, on the other hand, must adapt his approach, focusing on striking to create openings for takedowns after a disappointing performance in their previous match.
