UFC BJJ 13: Tackett and Rodriguez Set for Title Showdown in Las Vegas
UFC BJJ 13 is set to take place on October 29 at Meta APEX in Las Vegas, featuring two title matches. The main event will see William Tackett face Jay Rodriguez for the vacant UFC BJJ Middleweight title, while the co-main event will feature Jalen Fonacier competing against Kleber Barboza for the Bantamweight title.
Tackett, who previously lost a title match by unanimous decision, has bounced back with two recent victories, including a first-round submission of Manuel Ribamar. Rodriguez, making his UFC BJJ debut in September, impressed with a second-round submission of Kevin Beuhring, positioning himself as a strong title contender.
In the Bantamweight co-main event, Fonacier, known for the fastest submission in UFC BJJ history, will face Barboza, who earned his title shot after winning the UFC BJJ Opens. Other notable matches include Nick Rodriguez against Nata Tenca, and Ffion Davies taking on Jaine Fragoso in the women’s Bantamweight division.
