UFC Fight Night: Buckley vs. Malott Set for Edmonton

Joaquin Buckley and Mike Malott are set to clash in a key welterweight bout at UFC Fight Night in Edmonton on Saturday. This fight marks Malott's seventh consecutive appearance in Canada, where he aims to secure Buckley's No. 10 ranking.

Buckley, with a record of 21-8, is looking to rebound after grappling losses to Kamaru Usman and Sean Brady. Despite these setbacks, he remains confident in his abilities and is focused on maintaining an offensive strategy. Malott, holding a record of 14-2-1, has not fought outside Canada in nearly four years and recently achieved a notable victory against Gilbert Burns.

The event features a co-main event with title implications in the women's flyweight division, where Erin Blanchfield seeks a statement win against Jasmine Jasudavicius. The fight card includes 13 bouts, with a majority featuring Canadian fighters, highlighting the local talent in the sport.
