Ugochukwu Claims Historic F3 Championship at Madring

Ugo Ugochukwu made history by becoming the first American to win the FIA Formula 3 championship during the final race at Madring, where he finished in second place. The race commenced with Ugochukwu tied on points with Freddie Slater, but his performance ensured he ended the season with 159 points, 14 ahead of Slater.

Tuukka Taponen of MP Motorsport won the race, leading every lap, while Ugochukwu focused on maintaining his position against Pedro Clerot. Campos Racing had already secured the Teams' Championship the previous day, finishing with 334 points, significantly ahead of Trident.

This victory marked Ugochukwu's second championship of 2026, following his earlier success in Formula Regional Oceania. The achievement solidified Campos Racing's dominance, as they retained the title they first won in 2025.
