UK wrestler Tate Mayfairs announced on X that he was involved in a car accident overnight after falling asleep while driving home from an event. He has been active in the independent wrestling scene, with experience in promotions such as PROGRESS, DEFY, and Pro Wrestling NOAH, along with a brief period in NXT UK.

Mayfairs explained that he chose to drive home instead of accepting a hotel room offered by the promoter. He emphasized the risks associated with long drives and late nights in the wrestling profession. Fortunately, he reported no injuries, although his vehicle was completely destroyed in the accident.

Mayfairs expressed gratitude for his safety and urged others in the industry to consider taking accommodations or resting when necessary.
