Ukrainian Drones Attack Moscow Region, Resulting in Casualties
Ukrainian drones launched an attack on the Moscow region overnight on Sunday, marking one of the most significant assaults in the area, as reported by provincial governor Andrei Vorobyov.
The strike resulted in the death of an 83-year-old man and injuries to several others in Podolsk, where a warehouse belonging to the online retailer Wildberries was hit. Additional damage occurred at various locations, including a warehouse in Domodedovo, near a major airport.
Russia's Defence Ministry stated that it had intercepted 822 Ukrainian drones across the country. Recent Ukrainian operations have focused on Wildberries, which is accused of facilitating military supplies, as part of a broader strategy to disrupt Russian economic infrastructure supporting its military efforts.
