Ulster Prepares for Challenge Cup Opener Against Zebre

Ulster's Tom O'Toole emphasizes the need for focus as they face Zebre in their European Challenge Cup opener in Parma, following a challenging start to the season.

Ulster prop Tom O'Toole has stated that his team will remain vigilant as they prepare to face Zebre in their European Challenge Cup opener in Parma on Saturday at 15:15 BST.

Ulster has had a tough start to the season, drawing two and losing one of their first three United Rugby Championship matches, while Zebre has lost all three of their games, extending their losing streak to 19 matches in the competition. O'Toole recalled a previous encounter where Zebre defeated Ulster 15-14 in Belfast, highlighting the potential threat they pose, especially at home.

Despite recent draws, Ulster aims to build on their previous Challenge Cup run, which ended in disappointment last season. O'Toole noted the importance of improving discipline to avoid giving away penalties. He also expressed his ambition to be part of the Ireland squad for the upcoming Nations Championship in November, hoping to add to his 24 caps.
