Uncertainty Surrounds WWE Crown Jewel 2026 Amid Middle East Conflicts
The WWE Crown Jewel event is scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on November 7, following last year's event in Perth, Australia. However, the recent escalation of conflicts in the Middle East has raised questions about the safety of hosting the event in the region.
Recent violence, including a missile strike at King Khalid International Airport that resulted in 12 fatalities and over 300 injuries, has led to speculation regarding the event's status. Despite these developments, WWE has not officially announced any changes to the event's location.
On a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Crown Jewel was not mentioned during the WWE Money in the Bank broadcast, suggesting that WWE may only consider canceling or relocating the event if absolutely necessary. Meltzer indicated that the company is likely assessing the situation and may be seeking an alternative venue, but finding a suitable location on short notice could prove challenging.
