
Unidentified Woman Found Dead in Liverpool Park
Authorities are investigating the death of a woman whose body was discovered in a bin bag in Stanley Park, Liverpool, on Friday. The woman, estimated to be in her 70s, is thought to have been in the park for several weeks.
She was found wearing a cerise pink Nike t-shirt and is described as approximately 5ft 2in tall, white, with strawberry blonde hair. Despite a significant public response, police have not yet identified her and are continuing to seek assistance from the community.
Local MP Kim Johnson expressed concern over the incident, highlighting the tragedy of an elderly resident being unnoticed for so long. A nearby resident noted the park's popularity among locals, emphasizing the fear that such an event brings to the community. Police have conducted a post-mortem examination, but results are currently withheld as the investigation continues.
