Unnati Sharma claimed the bronze medal in the women's 63kg judo category at the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow on August 1, 2026. This victory adds to India's record total of four judo medals at the event.

Sharma defeated South Africa's Skye Knoester by ippon in a match that lasted just 1 minute and 7 seconds. Earlier, she had lost to Australia's Saya Middleton in the semifinals but rebounded with a strong performance to secure her place on the podium.

This bronze medal follows gold medals won by Harsh Singh and Asmita Dey, marking India's first-ever Commonwealth Games judo golds. Additionally, Yamini Mourya earned a silver in the women's -57kg category, contributing to India's best-ever performance in judo.
