Update on Marcus Bontempelli's Availability for Bulldogs

Western Bulldogs captain Marcus Bontempelli's participation in the Round 24 match against Melbourne is uncertain as he was rested for the recent game against Carlton due to an ongoing Achilles issue.

Coach Luke Beveridge indicated that Bontempelli's condition warranted a break, and he may require additional time off to ensure he is fit for the Wildcard Round. Beveridge expressed hope that Bontempelli would return to play before the season concludes.

In addition to Bontempelli, defenders Connor Budarick and Bailey Dale are also in contention to return for the match against Melbourne. The Bulldogs currently sit ninth on the ladder, with potential to move up to eighth or drop to tenth depending on the outcomes of their match and others.
