
UPUA's 21st Assembly Holds First Meeting of Fall 2026 Semester
The University Park Undergraduate Association (UPUA) commenced its 21st Assembly for the fall 2026 semester with an initial meeting that included the swearing in of new members.
The session began with an open forum and special presentations, featuring motivational remarks from Mark Brown, a fourth-year student and former representative. President Kat Hogan then outlined the expectations for the assembly, followed by a presentation from the Department of Internal Inclusion & Support, which focused on fostering diversity and inclusion within UPUA.
The meeting also included a discussion on Parliamentary Procedure, confirmations for key positions such as Executive Director of Public Relations and Executive Director of Physical Resources, and the introduction of a sample bill for practice voting. After various reports from assembly leaders, the meeting was adjourned.
