Uros Medic Calls Out Leon Edwards After Quick KO at UFC Belgrade

Uros Medic expressed his desire to fight former UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards after achieving a rapid knockout of Daniel Rodriguez in just 30 seconds at UFC Belgrade on Saturday.

Competing in front of a home crowd at the Belgrade Arena, Medic secured a swift victory in his first main event and immediately targeted a higher-profile opponent. He reiterated a previous callout from February, stating that a fight with Edwards would solidify his position in the top 10.

Medic emphasized that defeating Edwards would be a significant step towards a title shot, mentioning that he would only need to defeat one more former champion afterward. Although he prefers to face Carlos Prates, who is close to a title shot, Medic remains focused on Edwards if the opportunity arises. The UFC is set to continue its schedule with a Fight Night event in Las Vegas next weekend.
