The Serbian welterweight delivered a powerful left-right combination that knocked Rodriguez down, followed by ground strikes that prompted referee Jason Herzog to stop the fight at the first round's 30-second mark. This win marked Medic's fourth consecutive opening-round stoppage and maintained his record of never having a fight go to the judges.

Following his victory, Medic expressed his emotions to the audience, reflecting on a challenging fight week and declaring his ambition to dominate the division.
