USC Defeats Penn State 31-23 in White Out Game
Penn State football faced another setback on Saturday, losing 31-23 to USC in the annual White Out game at Beaver Stadium, marking their third consecutive defeat this season.
USC quarterback Jayden Maiava had a standout performance, throwing for 301 yards and three touchdowns, while the Nittany Lions struggled defensively. Despite the loss, the game attracted a record-breaking crowd of 114,419 fans, the second-highest attendance for a college football game.
While Penn State's secondary had been a strong point earlier in the season, they were unable to secure any interceptions against USC. Tight end Andrew Rappleyea emerged as a key player, contributing seven receptions for 63 yards and a touchdown. Looking ahead, Penn State faces tough opponents, with hopes that their upcoming game against Rutgers may provide a much-needed boost.
