Vacant Jumper Numbers Across AFL Clubs

AFL clubs are preparing to assign new jumper numbers to recruits as several iconic jerseys become available following recent player movements.

The AFL is entering a new season of jumper numbers as the trade and free agency period concludes, with draft night approaching.

All 18 clubs have vacant numbers available for new players, including some of the league's most notable jerseys. Some teams may opt to leave prestigious numbers unfilled for an additional year.

Among the notable vacancies is Taylor Walker's No.13 at Adelaide, which the club might leave unassigned until at least 2027. Other recently vacated numbers include those previously worn by Chayce Jones, Luke Pedlar, Tyler Welsh, Lachlan Sholl, and Jordon Butts.
