Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Shines with Two Wickets in Duleep Trophy

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, a 15-year-old cricketer, showcased his bowling skills in the Duleep Trophy quarter-final held at the BCCI Centre of Excellence Ground 2 in Bengaluru. After a lackluster batting performance where he scored eight runs off six balls, Sooryavanshi quickly turned the tide by claiming two wickets in just four deliveries against the North East Zone.

His first wicket came during the 28th over when he dismissed Kishan Lyngdoh, who edged a delivery to cover, resulting in a catch by substitute fielder Denish Das. Shortly after, Sooryavanshi struck again, getting Imliwati Lemtur out with a thin edge that was caught by wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan.

Sooryavanshi's journey in cricket has been notable, having made his first-class debut at the age of 12. He has played eight first-class matches, scoring 207 runs. His success in white-ball cricket includes impressive performances in the U-19 World Cup and the IPL, where he earned accolades for his scoring ability.
