Vail Resorts Reveals Winter Opening Dates for North American Resorts
Vail Resorts has disclosed the opening dates for multiple ski resorts across North America for the upcoming winter season, with a focus on Keystone Resort's ambition to be the first to open. The announcement comes amid expectations of a winter influenced by El Niño, which may lead to significant snowfall.
Keystone Resort, known for its early openings, has not set a specific date but aims to begin operations as soon as possible, having previously opened before Halloween in three of the last four years. Last year, it opened on October 25, narrowly beating Arapahoe Basin.
Other opening dates include Breckenridge on November 6, Vail Mountain on November 13, and several resorts including Whistler Blackcomb and Park City Mountain on November 20. Beaver Creek and Crested Butte are set to open on November 25, followed by Kirkwood and Stevens Pass on December 4.
