Van Rysel EDR-G: A New Contender in Gravel Biking
The Van Rysel EDR-G has been introduced as a versatile gravel bike aimed at a wide range of riders, from beginners to seasoned adventurers. With a focus on comfort and stability, it features a relaxed geometry and a weight of 21.1 lbs (9.6 kg), making it suitable for long rides on varied terrain.
This bike includes 15 mounting points for accessories, a downtube storage system with essential tools, and a dynamo-compatible fork. The design emphasizes an upright riding position, allowing for better control and comfort during extended rides. The Deda Gera handlebar, with a 24-degree flare, enhances stability, although its unique shape may take some getting used to.
Available in three configurations, the EDR-G is built to accommodate different riding styles and preferences. Its thoughtful design aims to make gravel riding more accessible and enjoyable, encouraging riders to explore new terrains without the intimidation often associated with gravel biking.
