Vancouver Canucks Seek Improvement After Seven-Game Losing Streak

The Vancouver Canucks are currently facing a challenging start to their season, having lost seven consecutive games, including a recent winless road trip in the Eastern Conference where they went 0-5-1 and were outscored 27-11.

Defenceman Luke Schenn expressed the team's need for significant improvement, acknowledging the frustration stemming from repeated mistakes. The Canucks, who began the season with a surprising victory over the Oilers, have struggled to maintain momentum since their early success.

As they prepare to host the Carolina Hurricanes, head coach Manny Malhotra highlighted the importance of practice and focusing on the details to establish the team's identity. Young players like Zeev Buium are also working to learn from the losses and improve their performance moving forward.
