Vancouver Goldeneyes Reveal New Jerseys Ahead of Second Season
The Vancouver Goldeneyes have introduced their new jerseys as they prepare for their second season in the Professional Women's Hockey League. The unveiling took place on Wednesday, with team captain Ashton Bell expressing excitement about the new design.
The jerseys prominently feature the team's logo, a golden eye encircled by wings, along with bronze lines on the sleeves that evoke the appearance of wings. Additionally, the design includes V-shaped blocking on the lower sides, symbolizing motion and referencing the team's post-game celebration.
Forward Jenn Gardiner noted that while the colors remain the same, the new design brings the logo to life in an exciting way. The Goldeneyes finished their inaugural season with a record of 9-3-4-14 and missed the playoffs. They will debut the new jerseys on December 5 during their season opener against the Seattle Torrent.
