Vanessa Gold to Sell Stake in West Ham to Amanda Staveley-Led Consortium
Vanessa Gold has announced her agreement to sell a 25.1% stake in West Ham United to a consortium led by Amanda Staveley, former co-owner of Newcastle United. The consortium also includes her husband, Mehrdad Ghodoussi, and PCP Capital Partners.
Gold, who took over as joint-chair of West Ham following her father's death in 2023, has reached this agreement as part of a deal that remains subject to a pre-emption process, allowing current shareholders the opportunity to purchase the shares instead.
West Ham confirmed the announcement and stated that the ownership structure will remain unchanged until the pre-emption process is completed, which is expected to take around two months. The club reassured fans that daily operations will continue unaffected during this period.
