Max Verstappen has disclosed that he has been feeling ill during the home Grand Prix weekend at Zandvoort. Despite his condition, he qualified in seventh place, with teammate Liam Lawson close behind, just 0.085 seconds off.

Verstappen attributed the performance gap to ongoing fundamental issues with the Red Bull car, stating that despite various adjustments, deeper problems remain unresolved. He expressed hope that these issues could be addressed by next season.
