Victor Hedman Out for Lightning's Game Against Mammoth Due to Injury

The Tampa Bay Lightning will be without their captain, Victor Hedman, for at least one game as he has been ruled out for Saturday's match against the Utah Mammoth due to a lower-body injury.

Hedman was injured during Friday's game against the Colorado Avalanche, where he played only 5:56 and took just one shift in the second period before leaving the ice. The exact moment of the injury remains unclear.

This season, the 35-year-old defenseman has participated in 10 games, recording two goals and four points. He previously missed the last month of the 2025-26 season due to performance anxiety, which he discussed over the summer.
