Victor Wembanyama Hosts Spurs Teammates for Offseason Training in Paris
Victor Wembanyama has spent much of the summer in France, where he recently hosted several San Antonio Spurs teammates for a mini-camp in Paris. This gathering comes less than two months after the Spurs' appearance in the NBA Finals.
The training session included seven teammates: Carter Bryant, De’Aaron Fox, Dylan Harper, Stephon Castle, Harrison Barnes, Jordan McLaughlin, and Tobias Harris, who is a recent free-agent signing. They are expected to train for about a week at Wembanyama's former club, Nanterre 92, which he partially owns. Former Spurs player Kelly Olynyk, currently a free agent, is also participating.
This training opportunity allows the team to bond and align their skills ahead of the upcoming season. Wembanyama's offseason focus includes enhancing his post game, a critical area for improvement following his performance in the playoffs. He has been working with Hakeem Olajuwon to refine his skills and is determined to build on his previous season's experience.
