Vikings Coach Considers Keeping Four Quarterbacks on Roster

While O'Connell did not confirm McCarthy's position as the backup to starter Kyler Murray, he acknowledged the complexities of roster cuts and the potential for McCarthy to be placed on the practice squad if he does not secure a spot on the main roster. The final decisions regarding the quarterbacks will be made by Sunday at 4:00 p.m. ET.
