Vikings Sign Jonathan Harris and Matt Lauter
The Minnesota Vikings have announced the signing of defensive lineman Jonathan Harris and tight end Matt Lauter. Harris returns to the team after spending the last two seasons on the practice squad without appearing in any regular season games.
Throughout his career, Harris has participated in 40 games across teams such as the Panthers, Broncos, and Bears, accumulating 91 tackles, one sack, and a forced fumble. Meanwhile, Lauter had previously tried out for the Vikings during their rookie minicamp and has also had brief stints with the Raiders and Titans this offseason.
In related roster moves, the Vikings waived defensive lineman Taki Taimani and cornerback Tyreek Chappell, both of whom were released with injury designations.
