Vikings to Waive Quarterback Max Brosmer

The Minnesota Vikings are set to waive quarterback Max Brosmer as part of their roster adjustments following cut-down day, where they initially had four quarterbacks on their 53-man roster.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the decision comes after the team claimed two players off waivers, necessitating a roster spot. Brosmer, who entered the league as an undrafted free agent last year, played in seven games during his rookie season, starting two and completing 66.2 percent of his passes for 328 yards, with no touchdowns and four interceptions.

If Brosmer clears waivers, he may be eligible to return to the Vikings' practice squad. The team currently retains quarterbacks Carson Wentz and J.J. McCarthy, alongside starter Kyler Murray.
