
Viktor Hovland Leads Tour Championship Heading into Final Round
Viktor Hovland will enter the final round of the Tour Championship in Atlanta on Sunday with a one-stroke advantage. The Norwegian golfer finished the third round with a score of 15 under par after carding a five-under-par 65.
Hovland started the round tied for the lead with Ryan Gerard, who ended the day at 14 under after a round of 66. Scottie Scheffler, the current world number one, is three strokes behind Hovland at 12 under, following a bogey-free round of 66. Rory McIlroy, a three-time FedEx Cup champion, made a strong move with a round of 63, placing him at 10 under.
Other notable players include Adam Scott and Ludvig Aberg, both finishing at 12 under, while Cameron Young shares 10 under with McIlroy. The tournament, which features a reduced field of 29 players, will also determine the FedEx Cup champion.
