Vincent Kompany Remains Hospitalized After Collapse at Bayern Munich Training
Vincent Kompany, the head coach of Bayern Munich, is currently hospitalized after collapsing at the club's training ground on Friday. Assistant coach Aaron Danks provided an update, stating that Kompany is in good spirits and appears to be improving.
Kompany, who missed Bayern's recent match against Freiburg, received a brief visit from Danks on Monday. During their conversation, they avoided discussing football specifics, focusing instead on personal matters. Danks noted that Kompany was calm and expressed positive feelings about his recovery.
Despite being in the hospital for four days, no diagnosis has been confirmed yet. Danks mentioned that there are no major updates regarding Kompany's return to work, and the club's director of sport, Max Eberl, indicated that it may take weeks for Kompany to return, emphasizing the importance of allowing him ample time to recover.
