Vinod Khosla, New Seahawks Owner, Reveals Steelers Fan Roots
Vinod Khosla, who was recently approved as the new owner of the Seattle Seahawks, has revealed his longstanding allegiance to the Pittsburgh Steelers. This admission comes after the NFL owners voted to sell the team to Khosla's group.
During a press conference, Khosla shared that he has been a Steelers fan since arriving in the United States in 1976, a time when the Steelers were winning multiple Super Bowls. He noted that he continues to follow the Steelers closely.
This revelation is not entirely unique in the NFL, as other team owners have also maintained fan loyalties to different franchises. For instance, Vikings owner Zygi Wilf was a Giants fan before acquiring the Vikings. Khosla's Seahawks are set to face the Steelers in 2027, unless they meet earlier in Super Bowl LXI.
