Vlad Namestnikov Placed on Injured Reserve as Jets Adjust Roster
The Winnipeg Jets have announced that Vlad Namestnikov has been placed on injured reserve retroactively due to an injury sustained on October 15.
Namestnikov has had a slow start to the season, contributing only one assist in six games as the Jets hold a record of 4-3-3. In addition to this move, the team has made further roster adjustments to accommodate players acquired in the Hellebuyck trade, including loaning Brayden Yager to the Manitoba Moose and placing Jack St. Ivany on waivers for a similar loan.
Both Yager and St. Ivany have played four games for the Jets this season without registering any points. The Jets are set to continue their season at home against the Montreal Canadiens on Sunday, aiming to end a four-game losing streak.
