Walker Stewart, a notable commentator from New Japan Pro-Wrestling, is set to make his AEW television debut on the September 5 episode of Collision.
The episode was taped on September 2 at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas, where Stewart was seen collaborating with the AEW commentary team. This appearance marks his first time calling a regular AEW broadcast, despite his extensive experience in wrestling commentary.
Stewart has previously worked as an English-language commentator for NJPW and STARDOM, and he contributed to eWrestlingNews.com as a writer. Although he has been involved with AEW before during the Forbidden Door event in June, his role in Collision signifies a different assignment. It remains uncertain if this will be a one-time appearance or the start of a more regular position with AEW, as no future engagements have been announced.
