Warren Foegele Placed on Injured List by Senators Due to Knee Injury
The Ottawa Senators have announced that forward Warren Foegele has been placed on the injured list due to a knee injury. This decision was reported on Friday by Postmedia's Bruce Garrioch.
Foegele sustained the injury during a game against the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday, resulting from a knee-on-knee collision with Jeremy Lauzon in the third period. Following the incident, Foegele did not return to the game, while Lauzon received a two-minute minor penalty for kneeing.
In his first full season with the Senators after being acquired from the Los Angeles Kings at last year's trade deadline, Foegele has recorded one goal and three assists in 13 games, averaging 12:04 of ice time per game. The 30-year-old forward, originally drafted by the Carolina Hurricanes in 2014, has accumulated 118 goals and 112 assists over 594 games played with the Hurricanes, Edmonton Oilers, Kings, and Senators.
