Washington Commanders Consider Trade for Jonathan Taylor Amid Colts' Reluctance
ESPN has highlighted the Washington Commanders as a potential trade destination for Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor, who is considered a top candidate ahead of the trade deadline.
Washington is in need of a strong running back, especially after placing Jacory Croskey-Merritt on injured reserve. Taylor, who has been performing at a high level with an average of 109.3 yards from scrimmage per game and eight rushing touchdowns, could significantly enhance the Commanders' offense.
However, the Colts are reportedly reluctant to trade Taylor, with ESPN estimating only a 30% chance he will be moved before the deadline. Other teams, including the Seahawks, Saints, Broncos, and Vikings, are also interested in Taylor, which complicates Washington's pursuit.
