Watford Secures 2-0 Victory Over Charlton at Vicarage Road

Watford defeated Charlton Athletic 2-0 in a Sky Bet Championship match at Vicarage Road, providing relief to head coach Alessio Dionisi. The victory came after a challenging week for the Hornets, who had suffered heavy defeats in previous matches.

Luca Kjerrumgaard opened the scoring in the 58th minute, capitalizing on a rebound after a shot from Edo Kayembe was parried by Charlton goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo. Substitute Jordan Zemura secured the win with a goal in stoppage time, marking his first for the club.

This win marked Watford's second victory in three months and their first clean sheet in 210 days, while Charlton extended their winless streak to eight games, leaving their supporters frustrated.
