The store was a popular gathering spot for students and locals, known for its fresh food and inviting atmosphere. Many patrons fondly recall spending time there, particularly enjoying the Boss Lady chai lattes, which became a staple for numerous visitors.

Over the past five years, Way Fruit Farm fostered a sense of community and served as a venue for interviews and social gatherings, making its closure a notable loss for the area. While the downtown location will be missed, the Port Matilda store remains open for those seeking similar offerings.
